Spider fence is a moveable object of a hundred different steel elements. I designed the Spider fence for the chalk cliffs of Ramsgate. A thousand spiders rush down the cliffs to the sea. These objects look best in the rough dunes.

In May 2005 three objects where made of plastic for a temporary group exhibition for the a foundation in Apeldoorn. The idea is to make them in steel for one of the cliffs in England.

The cables and the small body work as a fence. Each spider has 8 cables that stitch together as a network. Four cables at each side keep the object in place. Spider fence can be made of all kinds of steel and is deliverable on order.

De kabels en het lijf zijn bedoeld als hekwerk. Vier kabels aan iedere zijde houden het beeld op zijn plaats. De kabels van de ene spin lopen door de kabels van de volgende spin als een weefsel. Het weefsel is zo hecht dat het kan dienen als afscheiding. Spinhek kan worden uitgevoerd in alle soorten staal en is op bestelling leverbaar. De verhoudingen zijn: l x b x h = 3m x 1.5m x 1.1m
