The Hoek is a farm where a few years ago was decided to chance the farm lands into a country estate with two new homes. One of these new homes has been bought by the family Langeslag/ Linssen. For their private garden this design is made. The House stands in a diagonal line on the estate. In order to anchor House and surrounding area, the oblique line is continued in the form of a red beech hedge.

Through the Red beech Hague a clear distinction between front yard and back yard is creates. In the front yard there will be a ornamental border as business card for residents and visitors. The back yard consists of a pasture for the cows and a large vegetable garden. Along the north side an old tram track lays as a relic in the landscape. Along this little Dyke an existing wet low spot is transformed into Toad pool. The soil that will be released is transformed into a small hill just peaking above the dyke. In the vertex of the estate, a red beech on a small hill will be planted as eye-catcher.

On the front of the Red beech hague an orchard is planted. The orchard consists of old varieties. The House with garden is part of an existing estate, which is divided into 5 parcels. To make the connection with the existing estate a number of axles are designed. The axes give a look at ancient relics on the existing estate. Such as old tree groups and the existing estate.
